About us

Thank you for stopping by our web site. We are a small fellowship of Christians looking forward to the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We strive to understand the Bible, comparing scripture to scripture and line upon line. It is a continuous whole that always points to Jesus and was written to His followers of all ages. We study it's heroes and villains; it's prophesies and especially its Savior.

We also believe our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and God's will is for us to respect and maintain it accordingly.

While we believe what goes into our mouths is not as important as what comes out, we also strive not to offend God by poisoning our mind or body and in the process reduce our usefulness to God.

Probably what will be most obvious to you is that we worship on Saturday. At creation God rested from His work and hallowed the seventh day of the week. Jesus declared that at the end of time we should pray our flight is not on Sabbath and said that he was lord of the Sabbath. We would love to have you worship with us this Saturday. We meet at the Citizens of Maine building at 177 Coldbrook Rd in Hampden, Me. All are welcome. Come as you are or in your "Sunday best". You will fit in either way as our diversity extends beyond color. We are individuals united only by the blood of Christ. Our Sabbath School begins at 9:45 and worship service at 11. Our service is fairly traditional with hymn singing, time for praise, prayer, personal testimony and a sermon followed by a fellowship meal where we can get to know each other.

There is also time for Bible study and fellowship during the week in Bangor and Dixmont. If you are shy or housebound, we can arrange for personal study with one of our group.
